+  * All participating institutions operating a Shibboleth IdP 4.x should upgrade to version 5.x as soon as possible, see [[de:shibidp:upgrade5|Upgrade auf Shibboleth IdP 5.x]]
+  * Shibboleth IdPs with a version number lower than 5.1.2, for which the Sirtfi entity attribute is set, will lose this entity attribute on October 1, 2024.
+  * Shibboleth IdPs with a version number lower than 4.3.3 have [[https://shibboleth.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IDP4/pages/1265631889/SecurityAdvisories|known security vulnerabilities]] and will be deregistered from the DFN-AAI on December 1, 2024.
